The Social Services Administration works according to the value foundation that all people we meet have the same value and are unique. Within the administration, there are IFO, LSS operations, social psychiatry, health and medical care, home care, and special accommodations. About 800 employees work here, available around the clock for our target groups.

Within social services, there is IFO with adults, children, and families as well as financial support. We work in various ways to develop the investigation and follow-up work concerning children, families, youth, and adults. We seek new methods and develop internal and external cooperation to make good assessments and find effective solutions to the needs we encounter.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Your task is to, based on a solution-focused approach:
- guide individuals towards studies or work,
- work with step transitions towards work, internships, or studies,
- plan and lead activities both individually and in groups,
- organize and conduct study visits to workplaces,
- be responsible for coordinating internships within the private sector,
- receive new visits, conduct assessments, hold individual conversations, document, and follow up.
Your responsibilities also include contributing experiences from your previous employment in the private sector by establishing contact with employers in the private sector, inviting speakers, being a support for participants out on internships, and working with each participant's individual plan.
You will work according to the methods of the labor market unit and be responsible for follow-up and documentation.
As a supervisor, you will guide our participants based on a solution-focused and motivating approach. A significant part of the assignment involves following individuals all the way to set goals. The work consists of coordinating efforts from various actors, both internally (e.g., the financial support unit) and externally based on the individual's needs. You will establish individual implementation plans and help create personally developing activities based on the participants' wishes and needs.
Together with colleagues, develop our workplace and our working methods to meet the needs that arise.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a completed upper secondary education, preferably in social or pedagogical work or another education that the employer finds equivalent. We are looking for someone with previous experience working with people who are far from the labor market and have extensive experience working in the private sector and coaching and leading employees.
Education and experience in solution-focused and motivating working methods are meritorious.
In this position, you need to have knowledge of how politically governed organizations and our welfare systems work. It is a significant advantage if you are used to working in collaboration and have a broad network within the local business community.
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with people both in groups and individually. You are clear, calm, and secure in yourself and have the ability to empathize with others without taking over their feelings. In this role, you need to have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and adapt your communication style based on whom you are meeting.
Since the job includes being out on various activities with participants, you need to have good physical fitness.
You are a person who takes responsibility and has the ability to move work forward while being attentive and having good collaboration skills. We expect you to have a good approach in meetings with both participants and colleagues and value differences while understanding how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others.
Since a large part of your tasks involves collaborating and communicating with various parties and actors, good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. The position includes documentation, so basic IT skills are needed to handle the programs and systems we use daily.
You will be driving a car as part of your duties. A B driver's license for a car with a manual transmission is required.
